It’s now almost clear that the Congress in Assam is divided into two sections, A large section of congress leaders is not ready for the Congress AIUDF alliance ,last night a T.V channel's camera had caught that how midnight meetings were arranged at Chandan Sarkar’s residence by few congress leaders including Himanta Biswa Sarma ,as per reports says that the meeting was arranged to make serious political strategy against Tarun gogoi .On wednesday 20 congress MLA’s came forward and directly speaks against the alliance and alleged that their phones were tapped by the government ,In the meanwhile a signature campaign was launched by the congress leaders to save Tarun Gogoi’s chair, as far as source’s are concern about 60 % of congress leaders were supporting Tarun Gogoi’s step of alliance with AIUDF. On the other hand Himanta Biswa Sarma’s faction were speaks openly against the alliance on different media platforms.
On Thursday evening Tarun Gogoi’s Press Adviser and X minister Bharat Chandra Narah had arranged a dinner at a Resort near Guwahati ,where all the ministers were invited excluding Himanta Biswa Sarma and his team. In between (PHED Minister ) Gautam Roy had openly spoke abusive words infront of Live T.V channel’s cameras,while media people had asked questions on the congress in house fights to Mr. Roy.All though Bharat Narah and other ministers who had attended that dinner says that it was totally a personal one but Source’s reports says that the dinner was a full fledged political meet to save Gogoi’s chair. Also there is a huge chances of Reshuffle of ministers in Gogoi’s government .chief Minister will fly to New Delhi on Friday for discuss the issue with Sonia Gandhi.
